Study
Summary: The client is a
small home health care agency with over 30 nurses who
visit the patients at their homes. They needed to manage the nurse's
schedule and patient charts while also being able to meet the government
regulations regarding management.

Solution:

DCR designed and developed a 3 tier client server application that consisted of a standalone client applicaation on the nurses' laptop and a host application that processed information, created schedules and generated the required reports. A batch application was designed for the nurses to dial in and upload all the data and download the schedule. |
Benefits: The solution was cost effective and a secure way for the agency to meet its goals. The solution was so flexible that they later extended it to over 100 nurses when the agency was bought out by a competitor.
